Most sites weren't too helpful. EPIK's list of what to pack was most enjoyable! Here's a few pieces from their list that will be useful to any traveler!
1. An open mind
2. A positive attitude
3. Enthusiasm for teaching and a strong desire to learn
4. A sense of humor
5. Deodorant - is one often-cited item that is rather ubiquitous in most Western countries but scarce in Korea. Summers in Korea can be hot and humid, so if you tend to sweat, it wouldn't hurt to bring a few sticks of your favorite brand of deodorant with you.
My best advice is to bring less than you think want and to not be afraid of wearing a few things all the time. You'll want plenty of room for souvenirs, so leave a few extra pieces of clothes at home that are just going to sit in your drawers anyway. Oh-- but be sure to bring things to decorate your room! Just pictures or little trinkets from home.
